Abstract

The development of computer technology, both hardware and software, continues to develop along with the development of electronic technology that is increasingly advanced, as well as control technology that has made many advances from conventional control to automatic control to intelligent control. One of which is controlling the speed of the DC motor in the elevator using the method of organized logic. Organized logic control systems is relatively easy and flexible to be designed without involving complicated mathematical models of the system to be controlled. The main control in this system using PLC. In the output system, controlling this DC motor uses a PTYM signal output. The control system is designed using two input in the form of error and d~ error. Both inputs will be processed by PLC to get the output value in the form of a PWM signal to control the DC motor in the elevator. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the logic control system on PLC with encoder sensor can control the rotational speed of the DC motor in the elevator. In addition, structured logic can be implemented in elevator control, with the result of a sttling time of 120ms and the time of movement of the elevator on each floor is 18OOms at a distance of 1 floor, 3760ms at a distance of 2 floors and 5080ms at a distance of 3 floors with a maximum speed of 600 rpm.
