Abstract

This study aimed to figure out the income of fish farmers and the effect of production factor implementation on the gourami egg production. The research location was in Singasari Village which was selected purposively, while the
research method was quantitative descriptive; it was to explain the results of income calculations, multiple linear regression with the Cobb-Douglas type production function and Return To Scale in one production year consisting of the
dry and rainy season. The samples were 47 cultivators of gourami egg production, which were obtained using a saturated sampling method (census).
The results of the study showed that the cultivator's average income was IDR 7.643.271 in the dry season and IDR 1.762.201 in the rainy season. The results of R2 test showed that 72.3% of gourami egg production was affected by the production factors applied, the F test showed that production factors simultaneously had a significant effect on the production of gourami eggs and from the partial t-test results, the production factors used were gourami
broodstock, lime and season which had a significant effect on the production of gourami eggs, while the fish pond, natural fish feed (sente leaves) and labour had no significant effect. The results of the Return To Scale analysis showed that the business of gourami egg production was at the Increasing Return to Scale level.
