This research aimed to examine the effect of profitability, asset structure,
company growth and liquidity on capital structure. This research is quantitative.
Secondary data in theform l?( company annual ftnandal report obtainedfrom the
Indonesia Stock Exchange website. Population in this study are .fi.JOd and
beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. In the study, samples
are food and beverage companies listed. on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for
2014-2019. The sample selection used purposive-sampling technique and
obtained 14 companies as samples with 80 observational data. The data analysis
method used multiple linier regression analysis using the IBM SPSS Statistics 20
programs. This study indicates that the profitability and asset structure variable
has a positive iflect on capital structure. In contrast, the liquidity variable has a
negative effect on capital structure. The other one variables is company growth
doesn 't efftct on capital stnK..·ture.
