Abstract

Brebes Regency, located along the north coast of the Java Sea, is one of the
autonomous regions in Central Java Province. Brebes Regency has an area of
1, 769.62 km2 which is divided into 17 sub-districts with a rice field area of 63,635.04
Ha. One of the dominating crops in Brebes Regency is corn of 20,885 hectares. This
is quite difficult for the Brebes Regency government to manage existing data. With
the Geographical Information System, the community or the Brebes Regency
government can manage data, especially the area of secondary crops, more quickly
and in detail. The data method used in this research is literature and observation
methods, while the method for system development uses the System Development Life
Cycle (SDLC) method with the Waterfall model. The result of this research is for the
Department of Agriculture of Brebes Regency to record the area of secondary crops
in a district. People see more information about the area of secondary crops in
Brebes Regency.
