Pine can be used as landslide prevention in vegetative way. This study aims
to determine the characteristics and quality of land on the landslide-prone area in
Kali Arus Sub-watershed and to determine the suitability of pine plant land in
Sub-watershed river flow, Banyumas Regency. This research method uses survey
method. The data used is the characteristics and qualitiy of the land. The
population in this study were 14 landforms, with a sampling technique of area
sampling. Data collection techniques used was field survey techniques. Data
processing in this study used land suitability class assessment by matching data
between the characteristics and quality of the land with growth criteria of Pines
plant. The results of this study indicate that the Pine Plant belongs to non�permanent suitability (N2), there are limiting factors affecting surface rock,
temperature, drainage, and rock outcrop
