Dengue hemorrhagic fever (DHF) is a disease caused by the dengue virus transmitted to humans through the bite of the Aedes aegypti mosquito. In 2019, Ledug Village, kembaran Sub-district, Banyumas Regency, wa included in the DHF endemic area. One of the efforts to reduce the Aedes aegypti mosquito population is chemical control through insecticides. However, this control can make resistance to mosquitoes. Thus, it is necessary to research the detection of insecticide resistance against Aedes aegypti mosquitoes. This study aimed to determine the resistance status of Aedes aegypti mosquitoes to insecticides. The method used was the 2016 WHO standard bioassay or susceptibility test. The types of insecticides utilized were 0,8% malathion and 0,05% cypermethrin. The results revealed that the percentage of Aedes aegypti mosquito after exposure to malathion 0,8% and cypermethrin 0,05% insecticides was 100%. According to the 2016 WHO criteria, the Aedes aegypti mosquito was susceptible to 0,8% malathion insecticides and 0,05% cypermethrin.
