This study aims to determine the profile of farmer groups and their members, constraints and solutions as well as the role of the Kridoyuono Farmers Group in empowering cardamom farmers in Sambirata Village, Cilongok District of Banyumas Regency as the research the main purpose.
The method used is quantitative-qualitative descriptive analysis method. The data used in this study are primary and secondary data. The sampling process used the census method where in the study took all active farmers with a total of 30 participants.
The results of the study showed that the profile of the farmer group was founded in 2009 and partnered with Sido Muncul in 2019 with 30 cardamom farmers who are still active. The obstacles faced by the Kridoyuono Farmers Group included: weather (drying) and lack of capital. Solutions: using a cardamom drying machine, borrowing capital from other farmer members, and planning to submit proposals. The role of the Kridoyuono Farmers Group in empowering cardamom farmers showed an average total value of 402.33 which was categorized as having a role in carrying out their duties and functions as a learning class, a medium for collaboration and a production unit.
