Abstract
Various service applications that can be run online are increasingly in demand by the public, especially for people who have limited time, but it is not uncommon for services with this online system to cause problems, especially in buying and selling online among students. An example of a case that will be raised by the author is the negligence of obligations by the seller and lies committed by the seller regarding the suitability of the food ordered with the food delivered to the buyer within the University of Muhammadiyah Purwokerto. The purpose of this research is to find out the form of default dispute resolution in buying and selling food online which is carried out within the University of Muhammadiyah Purwokerto and what are the obstacles in default disputes in buying and selling food online which is carried out within the University of Muhammadiyah Purwokerto. This research method is an empirical research, namely with the existence of field data such as the results of interviews and observations. The results of this study are that the dispute resolution that can be obtained is by negotiating from the consumer side with the seller to find a bright spot whether to be replaced according to the order or replaced with money and regarding the obstacles there are several factors, namely human resource factors and infrastructure factors
