Abstract

Human trafficking is another form of human slavery in today's modern era. The Son is the Mandate and grace of God Almighty. Child trafficking in Indonesia is usually for prostitution, pornography, begging and domestic help. Child trafficking that has occurred so far has a negative impact on children. The impact that occurs when a child experiences violence is physical or psychic misery or suffering. The worse effect is that the child does not get the opportunity to grow and develop optimally both physically and spiritually. This study aims to determine and analyze efforts to prevent trafficking in child victims of criminal acts in Decision Number: 231/Pid.Sus/2020/PN PWT and legal protection for child trafficking victims in the Child Protection Law. The type of research used is normative yuridis with a statutory approach and a case approach. The research method used is carried out with pustaka material or secondary data. The results showed that sanctions on perpetrators were sentenced to imprisonment for 10 (ten) months and/or a fine of Rp. 5,000,000.00 (five million rupiah) and legal protection for victims of child trafficking was carried out by the government, village governments and other state institutions obliged and responsible for providing special protection to children. The suggestion is that the criminal conviction has not been maximized because it has not met the sense of justice for the victim and has not had a deterrent effect for the perpetrator. Regarding legal protections for child trafficking victims, all parties related to child trafficking victims to prevent illegal acts and to socialize the dangers of child trafficking and strengthen social control of society to reduce child trafficking.
