Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of product quality, brand
image and word of mouth and purchasing decisions. The sample selection in this
study was done by purposive sampling. Based on the criteria, 110 respondents
were obtained as samples. The data analysis techniques used in this study are
descriptive statistics, instrument testing, classical assumption test, multiple linear
regression analysis, hypothesis testing. The results show that product quality has
a significant positive effect on purchasing decisions, then brand image has a
positive but not significant effect on purchasing decisions, and word of mouth has
a positive but not significant effect on purchasing decisions.
