This study aims to determine the effect of Biochar and Vermicompost on shallot (Allium ascalonicum L.) yields through different doses The interaction of biochar and vermicompost is to enhance soil qualities and serve as an alternative to inorganic fertilizers. The randomized block design (RBD) utilized in this experiment had two factors: the first was biochar, which had four levels: 0 tons/ha, 20 tons/ha, 40 tons/ha, and 60 tons/ha. The second factor consisted of 3 levels, the first is 0 tons/ha, 20 tons/ha, and 40 tons/ha. The analysis applied star software. Parameters observed were total leave length, total number of leaves, number of tubers, tuber diameter, root length, tuber fresh weight, and tuber dry weight. The results of the statistical analysis showed that the interaction between Vermicompost and Biochar had a significant effect on the total leave length 40 days after harvest on shallot yields showing an insignificant effect on all yield variables.
