Abstract
Social value is a measure and assessment of the appropriateness of an attitude aimed at social life, this value shows the extent to which an individual's relationship with other individuals is intertwined as a member of society, social value is very real in community activities. The purpose of this researcher is to find out the social value in the interpretation of the letter at-Taubah verse 71 and to find out the relevance of social values in the interpretation of the letter at-Taubah verse 71 to Islamic Education. This research is a qualitative research, with a type of library research (Library Research). The data source is the interpretation of the letter at-Taubah verse 71. The data collection technique uses the documentation method. While data analysis with content analysis (content analysis). The results of the study show that social values are related to Islamic education. The social value in the Tafsir of Surah At-Taubah verse 71 is helping fellow believers, both male and female believers, amar Ma'ruf Nahi Munkar and preventing every evil deed, establishing prayers in accordance with God's commands which is the obligation of Muslim men for men and women both individually and in congregation, zakat is an obligation for every Muslim. Social education is community education, an educator and students must respect each other, educators must be able to interact with students so that educators can help students
