Abstract

Implementation of the religious character education model through Islamic amaliah activities is a process for making arguments about the suitability of the models and methods used in religious character education learning activities. This study aims to determine the process, activities, results, and evaluation in the implementation of the religious character education model through Islamic amaliah activities for students of exemplary Al – Irsyad Al – Islamiyyah Islamic High School Purwokerto. The type of research used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation. Then the data validation techniques used by researchers are extended attendance, in-depth observation, triangulation of data sources and member checks. While the data analysis techniques used by researchers are data reduction, data presentation (data display), data verification, and drawing conclusions. The religious character education program implemented by Exemplary Islamic Senior High School Al – Irsyad Al – Islamiyyah Purwokerto through Islamic amaliah activities was able to increase the enthusiasm, motivation and self-awareness of most students in carrying out worship, a sense of solidarity with others. Preserving the environment, and always carrying out activities in accordance with Islamic law in daily life. In addition, there are already several students who routinely carry out Islamic charity activities with self-awareness. This proves that the religious character education program implemented by the school has succeeded in increasing the enthusiasm, motivation, and self-awareness of some students to remain diligent in worship, even though there are still only a few students who do so.
