The aim of the research is to find out the level of students’
motivation in studying English during COVID – 19 Pandemic. This
Research employed descriptive Quantitative . The subject of this
research was the fourth-semester students of English department
consisting of 32 students. The data was collected using questionnaires
and interviews. The result showed that the students’ motivation in
online learning during Covid 19 Pandemic was categorized medium with
62,75. The most common factor influencing students’ motivation
teachers, parents, and environment with 76.6% and the least common
factor influencing students’motivation was challenges/competition with
52.95%.
