The Covid-19 pandemic requires companies to improve their performance, so as not to experience financial difficulties. So the purpose of this research is to find empirical evidence of the influence of sales growth, profitability, liquidity, and asset structure on debt policy during a pandemic. The samples used in this study are food and beverage companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2020-2021 period. The sampling method used was purposive sampling and 105 samples were obtained that met the criteria. The data analysis technique used is multiple linear regression. The results of this study prove that sales growth, liquidity, and asset structure have a negative effect on debt policy, while the profitability ratio has a positive effect on debt policy. This research makes a scientific contribution to the field of financial accounting in the form of insight into the factors that influence debt policy during a pandemic.
