Shallot (Allium ascalonicum L.) is an agricultural commodity that is widely consumed by the people of Indonesia. Every year the consumption rate of the commodity in Indonesia increases. Shallot cultivation still uses a lot of inorganic fertilizers, continuous use of the fertilizers can damage soil fertility. Vermicompost and mycorrhizal fertilizers can be used to improve soil fertility. The objective of this study was to determine the best dosage of vermicompost and mycorrhiza for the growth and yield of shallots (Allium ascalonicum L.). The research design used was a randomized block design consisting of two factors, the first one was the dose of vermicompost, namely V0 (0 tons of vermicompost/ha); V1 (20 tonnes of vermicompost/ha); V2 (40 tonnes of vermicompost/ha) and the second factor of mycorrhizal doses, namely M0 (0 g mycorrhizae/plant); M1 (10 g mycorrhiza/plant); M2 (20 g mycorrhiza/plant); Each treatment was repeated three times. The results showed that the application of 40 tonnes of vermicompost/ha (84 g vermicompost/polybag) and 20 g mycorrhizae/polybag had the best effect on leaf number, leaf length, and fresh shallot bulb weight.
