The research entitled Muhammadiyah Organization and the Development of Its Charity Business in Losari Village, Rembang Subdistrict, Purbalingga Regency (2001-2021) consists of several problem formulations; (1) How is the history of Muhammadiyah in the village of Losari, Rembang, Purbalingga; (2) What are its charitable businesses of Muhammadiyah; (3) How is the dynamics of its development. This research employed a historical method consisting of 4 steps: heuristics, criticism, interpretation, and historiography. The sources consisted of primary and secondary sources. Primary sources consisted of archives which included official letters, buildings, and old photos documenting Muhammadiyah's activities. In contrast, secondary sources consisted of interviews with Muhammadiyah administrators and members in Losari Rembang-Purbalingga village and literature studies. The results showed that: (1) Muhammadiyah first entered Losari village in 1935, brought by a Muhammadiyah figure named Jawawi, who came from Bumiayu. Meanwhile, the Muhammadiyah branch in Losari village was established around the end of 1935 on the initiative of Muslim leaders at that time. Losari village Muhammadiyah, in this case, the Muhammadiyah branch in Losari village, run based on the vision and mission that refered to the central vision and mission. (2) Muhammadiyah's charitable business in Losari village in the field of education included MIM Losari, MIM Pringamba, SMP Muhammmadiyah 5 Purbalingga; the religious field included the Losari Muhammadiyah Losari Baitussalam Mosque, Uswatun Khasanah Mosque, Baiturrahman Mosque, An-Nur Mosque, At-Takwa Mosque, Al-Munawaroh Mosque, and TPQ Assalam; while in the social field, it included LazisMu, and community empowerment by Aisyiyah Losari. (3) The development of Muhammadiyah's charitable business in Losari village, especially in the field of education, when viewed from quality, such as facilities and infrastructure, is well developed. However, from the quantity, such as the number of students, could be said that it tend to fluctuate.
