The high risk work of PT.Pertamina especially for the pipeline workers is
demanded to prioritize the occupational health and safety (OHS) of construction
work. By doing so, the implementation of directed occupational health and safety
will affect the performance of the workers. This research aimed to find out whether
there was an effect from the implementation of occupational health and safety
towards the workers' performance in PT Wijaya Karya Industri and Cilacap
Construction. The data used in this research were collected using questionnaire
given to the workers of pipeline on system water. The data were analyzed using
multiple linear regressions with F and T test for the hypothesis. The results showed
that the free variables consisting of top management commitment toward OHS (XI),
rules and procedure OHS (X2), workers' communication (X3), workers' competence
(X4), working environment (X5), workers' involvement (X6) partially and
simultaneously had significant effect toward the workers' performance in
construction project (Y). The effective dominant variable was top management
commitment toward OHS.(XI).
