Abstract
This study entitled the effect of the role-playing method in the family during the COVID-19 pandemic on the social skills of early childhood. The single case experiment aims to train and develop the ability of early childhood social skills in the family. Hypotension proposed in this study is to use role-playing media through role-playing practices. The population in this study were 18 students with 3 students as the subject. This study uses a single case experiment method with an ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis) design by adding a second baseline phase after the treatment phase. The results of the assessment after being subjected to social skills treatment of subject A, subject B, and subject C increased from a score of 18 to 24. Data collection used social skills observation sheets according to indicators, documentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the data analysis that have been used show that the role playing method is hereby stated that it has a good effect on the development of early childhood social skills.
