Abstract

Ornamental fish is one of the pets that is collected by various groups because of its high price and attractive shape. Ornamental fish that are often kept are ornamental fish that live in fresh water because they are quite young in care, especially in water which is a habitat for ornamental fish. There are several aspects that need to be maintained and considered in the maintenance of ornamental fish. In this study, an integrated system was designed to maintain the survival of ornamental fish. The system is connected to the internet via a wifi network using an Arduino UNO microcontroller and an MCU Node connected to Firebase. An android smartphone application as the controller is designed using Android Studio. This system is combined Real-Time as a timer for automatic control based on time. The results of this research system can control fish feed, adjust the pH of the water, drain the aquarium automatically when the water is cloudy, and fill in clean water after the cloudy water has reached the limit set by the sensor. The results of this research system can monitor the temperature, pH, and water clarity in the aquarium remotely with a very good response.
