Abstract
By the end of 2019, the world was digemparkan by the sudden emergence of Coronavirus Disease (Covid-19) that have killed thousands of people in the world. The world of education also feels a significant impacts as the teachng learning processes should be done online because of the limitations of sosial activities. The purpose of this study is to find out about the processes, the constraints, and the effectiveness of online teaching learning processes through Google Classroom to enhance the learning competence of Akidah Akhlak lesson in SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Purwokerto.
This is a descriptive qualitative type of study with the teacher of Akidah Akhlak lesson and the XI grade students of SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Purwokerto as the study‟s subjects. This study used observation, interviews, and documentation as the technique of collecting data. The analysis of data was done by three steps; the first steps waas data reduction in selection process, centralisation to simplification, abstraction, and transforming raw information found in the implementation; the second was exposing the data; and the third was taking conclusions or verification, and also rechecking or understanding meaning, orderliness, patterns, cause-and-effect explanations or prepositions.
The result of this study shows online teaching learning processes through Google Classroom to the learning competence of Akidah Akhlak lesson in SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Purwokerto based on the report scores of the majority of XI grade students of SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Purwokerto in the even semester in the academic year of 2020/2021 have reached the minimum criterion. At the same time, there were some constraints that both teahcer and students faced during the online teaching learning processes. Teacher expected students to perform what they learned but in online teaching learning processes, teacher could only assess the students‟ knowledge without being able to assess the students‟ affection and performance.
