Abstract
This research aimed to know the changes of soil chemistry Ultisol and
several dosages and the application techniques of fermentation compost for
growth of caisin (Brassica chinensis .L).
This research was implemented on June – September 2016 in Karangsoka
village, Kembaran, Banyumas regency. This research used Randomized
Completely Block Design (RCBD) with 3 repetitions. The treatments was a
singular factor with 9 treatments; P0 = Control (whole unltiosl planting field), P1
= 6tons/ha of fermentation compost were spread, P2 = 6 tons/ha of fermentation
compost were drowned, P3 = 7tons/ha of fermentation compost were spread, P4
= 7tons/ha of fermentation compost were drowned, P5 = 8tons/ha of fermentation
compost were spread, P6 = 8tons/ha of fermentation compost were drowned, P7 =
9tons/ha of fermentation compost were spread, P8 = 9tons/ha of fermentation
compost were drowned.
The result showed that were aplication of fermentation compost give
significant effect toward pH, P, K, base saturation, leaves area and dried root
weight content, but give not significant to the content of N, Ca, Mg, KTK,
Alumunium saturation, plants height, amount of leaves, fresh plant weight, fresh
root weight
