Abstract

This study aims to describe the meaning components of housing construction
in the housing brochure discourse in Banyumas. This is qualitative research with a
qualitative descriptive design. The data and data sources of this research are the
typical words of housing specifications and new housing brochures with marketing
years between 2017 and 2019 in Banyumas. This research was conducted in three
stages, namely the stage of providing data, the stage of analyzing data, and the stage
of presenting the results of data analysis. This research data provision stage uses
library techniques, namely techniques in written sources to obtain data. The stage of
analyzing the data of this research uses the matching method with the basic technique,
namely determinant constituent analysis (PUP) technique. The presentation stage of
the analysis results uses formal and informal methods. The results showed that there
were 74 meaning component data found from 11 developers in the housing brochure
discourse in Banyumas. It was found 26 data on the meaning of building construction
components, 19 data on the meaning of types, 29 data on the meaning of facilities and
infrastructure in terms of housing construction in the housing brochure discourse in
Banyumas.
