This study aims to examine the effect of the board of directors, independent board
of commissioners, and sharia supervisory board on the financial performance of
Indonesian Islamic banking. Financial performance is proxied using ROA, the
population in this study is Islamic banking registered with the Financial Services
Authority (OJK) in Indonesia operating in 2017-2019. The sampling technique
used purposive sampling technique, and obtained 42 samples. The analytical
method used to test the hypothesis is multiple linear regression. The results of this
study indicate that the board of directors has no effect on financial performance,
the independent board of commissioners has a positive effect on financial
performance, while the sharia supervisory board has no effect on financial
performance.
