Education is an effort that can be done to enhance human potential, with the goal of developing intelligence, noble character, and improving skills and self-worth. Disaster education is a way to lessen the effects of natural disasters. The overall goal of this disaster education is to provide an overview of the learning process for disaster preparedness. The Coronavirus Disease 19 (Covid 19) outbreak, which has affected millions of people in Indonesia, is currently occupying the country's attention. Student Disaster Mitigation is required in order to lessen the disaster's danger and impact. The goal of this study was to see how disaster mitigation would be implemented in the event of a coronavirus 19 outbreak affecting elementary school students in Purbalingga Lor Village. Interview and documentation procedures are used to get the data. The subjects of this study were 5th-grade students of SD Negeri 1, 2, and 3 Purbalingga Lor. This research employed a qualitative approach. The findings of a study conducted at elementary school students in Purbalingga Lor Village on Disaster Mitigation in Dealing with the Emergency Conditions of the Coronavirus Disease 19 Outbreak were good because they properly followed health protocols. by using a mask and, if necessary, a face shield, cleaning hands with soap and ensuring to bring hand sanitizer, maintaining a safe distance, and avoiding crowds Because it has now become a habit that must be followed during the covid pandemic 1, social distance and PSBB have been introduced.
