Abstract

Arca Weir is one of the weirs that were built to drain and supply water for irrigation needs in D.I Kedung Limus, Banyumas Regency, Central Java. Arca Weir is located in the Administrative Work Area of Dukuhwaluh Village, Kembaran District. The Arung Kedung Limus Network is a technical irrigation network with an area of irrigated rice fields covering an area of 1,215.13 ha. The operation at Arca Weir is carried out based on 2 (two) seasons, namely the dry season and the rainy season. The purpose of this study was to analyze the Arca Weir operating system in meeting the irrigation water needs of the Kedung Limus Irrigation Area. The analytical method used is to compare between divided and given discharges according to the door opening / distribution or distribution with the water requirements needed for the whole. From the results of the study showed that the operating system used naturally adjusts to the availability of water. In April to June the operation of the provision of debit is still sufficient for its water needs, but the given debit decreases because in that month entering the dry season. In July to October the operation of the provision of debit is not sufficient to meet its water needs, because that month coincides with the dry season.
