Abstract

This study aims to determine the increase in students' ability to identify the text of the observation report using the reading, question, and answer model in class X students of Package C PKBM Ar-Rosyid Purwokerto for the academic year 2021-2022. This study uses a type of quantitative descriptive analysis. The data used in this study is the result of the evaluation value after the learning process takes place both in cycle I and cycle II. Sources of data in this study were students of class X PKBM Ar-Rosyid Purwokerto and teacher Package C Ar-Rosyid Purwokerto which consisted of 5 students with 3 boys and 2 girls. The instrument used in this research is the ability test to identify the text of the observation report in the form of description questions and questionnaires given to teachers and students. The ability of students to identify the text of the observation report, students already understand how to determine the main idea, make 5W+1H questions, find fact sentences, and rewrite the LHO text in their own language. Based on the results of the study, it can be said that there is an increase in the results of students' ability to identify the text of the observation report through the RQA (reading, question, and answer) model, namely from learning achievement with an average of 61.2 in the pre-cycle value, increasing to 75.5 in the post-cycle test score. I and increased to 80 in the second cycle post test scores. With the results of the study, it was found that there was an increase in students' ability to identify the text of the observation report using the reading, question, and answer model.
