Abstract

This study aimed to describe the contents and feasibility of the Indonesian supplementary book for grade VIII Odd Semester 2021-2022 published by CV Gema Nusa. The study was qualitative descriptive. The data were obtained from the eligibility criteria for the textbook's contents, such as suitability of the material with KI and KD, the accuracy of the material ,and supporting materials availability.The data source was the Indonesian supplementary book for grade VIII Odd Semester 2021-2022 published by CV Gema Nusa. The data collectionutilized a note-taking technique. The research instrument used was the researcher or the human instrument. The supplementary books were analyzed based on the publishing standards set and issued by the National Education Standards Agency (BSNP). The findings indicated that the quality of the supplementary book was good interms of the eligibility criteria for content according to the BSNP, and only a few parts were unsuitable. This supplementary book was suitable for use in terms of content feasibility. The material presented is in accordancewith KI and KD in the 2013 curriculum, some are feasible, 3 aspects are not feasible, and 1 aspect is not feasiblein this component. The accuracy material contained in the book is quite accurate and precise, as evidenced by 24 aspects that are feasible and 1 aspect that is not feasible. Most of the chapters in the book were available with supporting materials, as evidenced by 38 feasible aspects, one less feasible aspect, and unfeasible aspect, which contained up-to-date features, examples, and references; reasoning aspect; problem-solving aspects; aspects ofthe relationship between concepts; communication aspect; implementation aspects; aspect of materialattractiveness; encouraging aspects to seek further information and enrichment
