The current development of industry, especially the primary consumer goods industry, is experiencing very tight business competition between companies. The rise and fall of a company's financial performance is a common thing in companies. This study aims to obtain empirical evidences and examine the effect of liquidity, firm size, and capital structure on the financial performance of companies in the primary consumer goods industry sector on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) for the 2016-2021 period. This study uses a quantitative approach. A total of 18 companies were selected using the method purposive sampling, using the period 2016 – 2021, which resulted in 108 sampel data. The analytical method used in this research is multiple regression analysis. The results showed that liquidity had a positive and significant effect on financial performance, firm size had a positive and significant effect on financial performance, while capital structure had a negative and significant effect on financial performance.
