Abstract
The purpose of this study were; 1) to find out the costs and income of tofu agroindustry
in Kalisari Village, Cilongok Sub-district in the conditions beforethe
Covid-19 pandemic conditions 2) to find out the feasibility of tofu agroindustry
business in Kalisari Village, Cilongok District in the conditions before and
duringthe Covid-19 pandemic conditions 3) to perceive the contribution of
tofuagro-industry income to income households in Kalisari Village, Cilongok
District in the conditions before and during the Covid-19 Pandemic. The method
used in this study was descriptive quantitative in which the sampling technique
used was simple random sampling using the Slovin formula with an error rate of
5% with a sample size of 154 tofu craftsmen. Quantitative descriptive analysis
was used to explain the costs incurred and the income obtained from the tofu
agro-industry in the previous conditions and during the Covid-19 pandemic
conditions, the feasibility of doing tofu agro-industry in the pre-condition
conditions during the Covid-19 pandemic, and the contribution of tofu
agroindustry income to the household income of tofu businessmen in Kalisari
Village in the conditions before and during the Covid-19 pandemic.
The results of this study showed that the characteristics of respondents of tofu
craftsmen were on average 41-50 years of age. Furthermore, the average
respondents were elementary school graduates and they had been running tofu
agro-industry for 21-30 years with an average number of dependents of 2-3
people. The costs incurred for producing tofu were tax costs, equipment
depreciation costs, soybean raw material costs, turmeric costs, salt costs, water
costs, fuel costs, and extra family labor costs which totaled up to Rp. 13,694,321
per month in normal conditions. However, during the Covid-19 pandemic
conditions, the total costs were Rp. 11,857,403 per month. The income obtained
from the tofu agro-industry in normal conditions was Rp. 7,807,399 per month
while during the Covid-19 pandemic conditions it decreased to Rp. 6,560,997 per
month. The feasibility of tofu agro-industry under normal conditions and during
the Covid-19 pandemic conditions showed that the tofu agro-industry business in
Kalisari Village was feasible to run. The contribution of tofu agro-industry
income in normal conditions and the Covid-19 pandemic conditions gave a high
contribution to the household income of tofu craftsmen in Kalisari Village,
Cilongok Sub-district.
