Abstract

This researcher aims to describe the form and function of directive illocutionary speech acts in the teacher's speech in learning Indonesian Class X Accounting and Finance at SMK Komputama Majenang in 2022. This type of research is using a qualitative descriptive approach. The subject of this research is a teacher who teaches Indonesian subjects at SMK Komputama Majenang. Meanwhile, the informants in this study were teachers who taught Indonesian language subjects in class X Accounting and Finance at SMK Komputama Majenang and students in class X. The results of the study of the form and function of directive illocutionary speech acts on the speech of teachers and students in learning Indonesian in class X Accounting and The finances of the Komputama Majenang Vocational School for the 2021/2022 academic year show that the use of the directive illocutionary speech act form of command, request and the function of the command directive illocutionary speech act and the function of the request illocutionary speech act are the most widely used compared to other directive illocutionary speech acts. This can be seen from the results of the study which show that the forms of illocutionary speech acts of commands, requests and functions of illocutionary speech acts of commands and requests used by Indonesian language teachers are 12.6 speech acts of commands and 6 speech acts of command illocutionary speech acts. The forms of directive illocutionary speech acts found are the forms of directive illocutionary speech acts of orders, questions, requests, invitations, advice, and prohibitions. The functions of directive illocutionary speech acts encountered include: ordering, ordering, asking, inviting, forbidding, and asking.
