Historical heritages are tangible proof or artifacts. The historical heritage building of the former Kalibagor Sugar Factory, situated in the village of Kalibagor, Banyumas Regency, is one of the facts of objects in the form of buildings. One of the regencies in Central Java is the Banyumas Regency. Historical heritage buildings typically experience a decrease in physical quality and the environment since they are so ancient. This research aimed to discuss the revitalization of the Kalibagor Sugar Factory building as a historical heritage building, including the history of the Kalibagor Sugar Factory, the function of local governments, and the socioeconomic effect on the neighborhood by using historical research techniques such as: First, heuristics (efforts find sources) 2. Criticism, there are two: internal criticism (the authenticity of the sources) and external criticism (criticism of credibility) 3. Interpretation (interpreting sources) 4. Historiography or study writing. The Banyumas Residency's largest sugar factory, Kalibagor, started to cease its operations in 1996-1997. Therefore, it is important to revitalize the neighborhood to maintain the historical heritage and allow for its multifaceted and renewed vitality.
