Abstract

Along with the rapid development of technology, the need for building materials also continues to increase, especially the need for partial replacement of cement in concrete. Therefore, the use of materials or resources that need to be developed, one of which is by utilizing marble powder waste as a partial replacement of cement in the concrete mixture. The purpose of this study was to determine the compressive strength of concrete with a mixture of marble powder waste as a partial replacement of cement, and to find out which concrete experienced the maximum compressive strength. This research method uses the experimental method. The planned concrete quality is Fc '25 MPa with a test object age of 28 days. With three concrete samples, the variation of making concrete samples was 0%, 2.5%, 5%, and 7.5%. The results of this study, the compressive strength of concrete with variations of 0%, 2.5%, 5%, and 7.5% is 26.89 MPa, 25.38 MPa, 25.01 MPa, 25.19 MPa. The maximum compressive strength value was obtained in a mixture of 2.5% marble powder waste with a compressive strength of 25.38 MPa.
