Nasyiatul Aisyiyah as one of the wings of the Muhammadiyah organization. Nasyiatul Aisyiyah is a pioneer organization of the women's movement that is concerned with developing the creativity of Muslim women so that they can play an important role in Islamic social activities. This study aims to describe or determine the form of the role of Nasyiatul Aisyiyah in the development of Islamic religious education in the Kertayasa village community, Tegal district.
This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The research subject was focused on the chairman and members of the Nasyiatul Aisyiyah taklim assembly in Kertayasa Village, Kramat District, Tegal Regency. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, documentation, while the data obtained are qualitative data. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing.
Based on the results of the study, it shows that there are several forms of the role of the Nasyiatul Aisyiyah taklim assembly in the development of Islamic education in the Kertayasa village community, Tegal district. As for some of its roles, namely, guiding the congregation to tartil the Koran, providing an understanding of Islamic religious knowledge, familiarizing the congregation, training the congregation to sacrifice and familiarizing the congregation to do infaq and shadaqah.
