Abstract

Learning activities are all activities carried out by students in the context of learning to achieve a goal. Without activity, the learning process will not run well. Student activities in the teaching and learning process are not only listening and taking notes. The more activities students do in learning, the better the learning process that occurs. This study aims to determine the learning activities of students in the subject of Islamic Religious Education at SMP Negeri 2 Pringsewu and to determine the factors that influence the learning activities of students in the subject of Islamic Religious Education at SMP Negeri 2 Pringsewu.
This study uses a qualitative research type, with a descriptive qualitative research approach. The subjects in this study were PAI teachers at SMP Negeri 2 Pringsewu and TU staff at SMP Negeri 2 Pringsewu. Data collection techniques using observation techniques, interviews and also documentation. Data analysis techniques using data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing.
The results of the study indicate that learning activities are a series of activities designed by teachers to teach students related to activities to do something in finding knowledge. Learning activities are physical and mental activities that are interrelated in the learning process. Learning activities are student involvement in the form of attitudes, thoughts, actions and activities in learning activities to support the success of the teaching and learning process and obtain benefits from learning activities. The learning activities observed were Visual activities, Oral activities, Listening activities, Writing activities, Drawing activities, and Mental activities. Factors that influence learning activities are internal and external factors. Internal factors consist of physical and psychological, while external factors consist of family environment, teachers and teaching methods, learning tools, social motivation, as well as environment and opportunities.
