Abstract

The 2013 curriculum and limited face-to-face meetings demand the teachers adapt to the use of technology in teaching such as using digital modules as the learning media. This was a research and development with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation) development model that aimed to find out the development and the appropriateness of digital modules to teach human excretion systems. The data of this research were collected using questionnaires and tests (pre-test and post-test) then the questionnaire results were analyzed using the descriptive quantitative analysis technique and the test results were analyzed using a T-test to find out the difference before and after the implementation of the digital module. The findings of this study are presented as digital module products, and it is known from the feasibility results that the evaluation of digital module products by material experts receives a total score of 3.72. (very good). The evaluation of the media specialist received a 3.65 overall rating (very good). Assessments by teachers received an overall score of 3.67, while assessments by students had an overall score of 3.51. (very good). The application of student learning outcomes data resulted in an increase in the typical pre-test score of 42 and the typical post-test score of 69. The results of the T-test calculation obtained sig (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05 showing the existence of differences before and after implementation using digital modules. Therefore, it can be concluded that the product of the digital module in human excretion system material has been successfully developed and is appropriate to be used as an interactive learning media.
