Jenderal Ahmad Yani Kroya is the main road which is located in one of the bustling economic centers in Kroya District. Side obstacle activities such as vehicles parked and stopped on the shoulder of the road, pedestrians, vehicles going in and out of the road and non-motorized vehicles cause a decrease in vehicle speed so that it affects the smooth flow of traffic. This study aims to determine the effect of vehicle speed due to side obstacles on Jalan Jenderal Ahmad Yani Kroya which was carried out for 2 days, namely on Sunday and Monday in 2 segments. Data were collected by surveying vehicle speed and side barriers for 12 hours with 15 minute intervals. Data analysis using multiple linear regression analysis method with the help of SPSS application. The results of the analysis of the highest side resistance are on Monday at 542.9/hour in segment 1 and 309.5/hour in segment 2. From the regression analysis of side resistance to speed, the best equation is obtained on Monday, June 13, 2022 segment 1 Y = 23,176 – 0.025X3 with a value of R2 = 76.5%. and segment 2 Y = 23.006 – 0.033X3 with a value of R2 = 50%. This shows that the side barriers that affect the speed in segment 1 and segment 2 are incoming and outgoing vehicles..
