Abstract
The purpose of this study was to determine whether or not there was an effect of the implementation of the mentoring program on the behavior of the main community-based students at UMP, to determine whether or not there was an influence of AIK education on the behavior of the main community-based students at UMP and to determine whether or not there was an influence of the implementation of the mentoring and education program. AIK together on the behavior of the main community-based students at UMP.
This type of research is a combination research (mix methods). The combination research method is an approach in research that combines or connects quantitative and qualitative research methods. The research subjects are students and leaders of LPPI UMP. The data collection methods are interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The sample consisted of 60 students from FEB and FH. The data analysis technique used descriptive statistics, classical assumption test and multiple linear regression.
The results showed that the mentoring program had a positive and significant effect on the behavior of the main community-based students at UMP. Based on the results of the t-test on the mentoring program variable is 6.240 with a sig of 0.000. The results of the analysis of sig. 0.000 is less than 0.05. AIK education has a positive and significant effect on the behavior of the main community-based students at UMP. Based on the results of the t-test on the education variable AIK is 3.221 with a sig of 0.002. The results of the analysis of sig. 0.002 is less than 0.05. AIK's mentoring and education programs have a positive and significant effect on the behavior of the main community-based students at UMP. The calculated F value is 149,673 with F sig. 0.000 where F sig. 0.000 is less than 0.05 then Ho is rejected. Simultaneously, the influence of AIK's mentoring and education programs on the behavior of the main community-based students is 83.4%, the remaining 16.6% is the role of other variables.
