Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of work competence, compensation and
workload on the performance of Banjarnegara Ceramic Center employees. The
population of this study were all permanent employees totaling 125 employeesThe
sample in this study was 125 employees using saturated sampling technique. The
analysis used is the F test, t test and adjusted R2.
The results of this study based on the F test stated that work competence,
compensation, and workload simultaneously affect employee performance. Based on
the t test obtained; (a) work competence has a positive and significant effect on
employee performance. (b) compensation has a positive and insignificant effect on
employee performance. (c) workload has a positive and significant effect on
employee performance. Based on the coefficient of determination R2 adjusted, it
shows that the influence of work competence, compensation, and workload on
employee performance is 46.4%, while the remaining 53.6% is influenced by
variables outside the research model.
