Purbalingga Bobotsari Street is an alternative road from Purbalingga to
Bobotsari and Pemalang. With the number of parking spaces that are not
balanced with the availability of parking, visitors park their vehicles on the road
which results in obstruction of traffic flow. This study aims to determine the
characteristics and arrangement of on-street parking. The method in this study
used direct observation with the cordon count method and MKJI 1997. From the
research, it was found that location 1 had the largest parking volume of 409
vehicles and parking accumulation of 42 vehicles with an average parking
duration of 0.52 hours and a maximum parking index of 72%. Location 2
obtained a motorcycle parking volume of 155 vehicles and a parking
accumulation of 19 vehicles with an average parking duration of 0.34 hours and a
maximum parking index of 36%, while cars obtained a parking volume of 53
vehicles and a parking accumulation of 5 vehicles with an average parking
duration. an average of 0.31 hours and a maximum parking index of 55%.
Location 3 has a parking volume of 244 vehicles and a parking accumulation of
15 vehicles with an average parking duration of 0.38 hours and a maximum
parking index of 14%. The parking pattern for location 1 and location 2 is
planned to use a 900 angle for motorcycles with a parking capacity of 29 SRP and
26 SRP for motorcycles, while for cars it is planned to use a 00 angle with a
parking capacity of 4 SRP. Location 3 in the market parking lot is planned to use
an angle of 300 with 120 SRP.
