Abstract
This study aims to determine and reveal the structure of the soil macrofauna community which includes individual count, diversity, dominance, and environmental quality on agricultural land in Pliken Village. The study was conducted in January-June 2022 using the purposive random sampling method. Sampling was carried out at three locations, namely on agricultural land to the west, north, and south. Sampling was carried out in the morning (06.00-8.00 WIB) and evening (18.00-20.00 WIB) six times with an interval of one month. Soil macrofauna obtained during the study were 1022 individuals belonging to 32 species, 28 families, and 17 orders with a fairly abundant category. The highest number of individual counts, namely yellow ants (Anoplolepis gracilipes) amounted to 640 tails. While the lowest were several species, namely Spider (Philodromus sp.), Ground spider (Trochosa canapii), Cocopeat (Euborelia sp.), White Pest (Cnaphalocrocis medinalis), Signal fly (Pogonortalis sp.), Wood grasshopper (Valanga nigricornis), Green steamed grasshopper (Atractomorpha cremulata), Orong-orong (Gryllotalpa sp.), Wild beetle (Cheilomenes sexmaculata), Yuyu rice field (Parathelphusa convexa), Centipede (Lithobius sp.) totaling one. Soil macrofauna diversity index ranged from 0.566 to 2,288 with an average of 1.45. Based on the Shannon Winner criteria, it shows a moderate level of diversity, because 1 ˂ H ˂ 3. While the soil macrofauna dominance index ranged from 0.144-0.794 with an average of 0.395. Based on the Simpsons criteria, it shows a low level of dominance, because D is ˂ 0.5 which means that there are no dominant species. Environmental quality on agricultural land in Pliken Village, Kembaran Sub-district in 2022 which includes air temperature, soil temperature, soil pH, soil moisture, and soil texture has optimally supported the life of soil macrofauna.
