Sexual violence against children is one of the sexual deviations that make children as sex objects. The impact of sexual violence on children causes physical, mental, social pain and even death. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of using the vision of health education based on Islamic religious education on the prevention of sexual violence at MTs Muhammadiyah Purwokerto.
This type of research is quantitative with a one-class pre-test post-test design. The sample in this study was the 8th grade students of MTs Muhammadiyah Purwokerto totaling 57 people using a total sampling technique where all members of the population were sampled. Data analysis in this study used the one-sample Kolmogorov-Smirnov test and the paired sample pre-test post-test.
The results of the study on the average effectiveness of the use of Perkes Vision on the prevention of sexual violence were pre-test (125,088), post-test (136,667). There is a difference in the increase in knowledge scores before and after the animation video media is given, thus it can be concluded that the value is significant (0.001) < (0.005), so that the HO is rejected, indicating that there is a significant effect on the difference in treatment given to each variable.
