Abstract

This study aims to prove (1) the effect of economic literacy on behavior Student consumptive
behavior, (2) the influence of lifestyle on student consumptive behavior (3) peer influence on student
consumptive behavior (4) the influence of self-control on student consumptive behavior. The
influence of economic literacy, lifestyle, peers, and self-control on consumptive behavior. The
method used is quantitative method. This study was analyzed using multiple regression analysis. The
population of the study was 106 people. The sample was taken using purposive sampling with a
sample of 106 students. Collecting data using a questionnaire with a closed questionnaire. The
results showed that simultaneously economic literacy, lifestyle, peers, and self-control had a positive
and significant effect on students' consumptive behavior. Partially, economic literacy has an
insignificant negative effect on student consumptive behavior, lifestyle and peers have a positive and
significant effect on student consumptive behavior and self-control has an insignificant positive
effect on student consumptive behavior.
