Abstract

Wonosobo as one of the developing cities in Central Java Province requires the availability of sufficient clean water to support the needs of people. PDAM (Local Water Supply Utility) as one of the providers of clean water is obliged to meet these needs. At this moment, the distribution of PDAM water was not evenly distributed, there were still some PDAM service areas that had no running water continuously for 24 hours. For this reason, it is necessary to calculate water needs and losses for now and until 2026 with a projected population and calculate the water discharge used by PDAMs as well as projected water availability estimates until 2026. Based on the study, the water needs for 2026 was 642.65 liters/second increased by 89.29 liters/second (16%) from 2021 which amounted to 553.36liters/second. Along with the increasing population growth of Wonosobo city, the water debit used by PDAM Wonosobo city until 2026 was 851.797liters/second increase by 88,799 liters/second (12%) from the data of used water discharge in 2021 which was only 762,998 liters/second. The estimated water loss until 2026 was 209.15 liters/second decreased by 0.49liters/second (0%) from 2021 which was only 209.64 liters/second from the water balance. It can be drawn that the availability is still sufficient up to 2026.
