Abstract

In today's modern era, many people want to transact easily and quickly. With the rapid advancement of technology, pesantren are required to adapt. By making non-cash payments, there are now many electronic money and digital wallets circulating. Santri no longer need to be bothered by carrying large amounts of cash anywhere to carry out daily transactions. Basically, electronic money can be used as an integrated means of payment. The purpose of the study was to find out how the implementation of e-smart in the modern Zam-zam Islamic boarding school was reviewed based on the DSN-MUI fatwa No: 116/DSN-MUI/IX/2017 regarding electronic money.This research was conducted at the Zam-Zam Modern Islamic Boarding School, Cilongok sub-district, Banyumas district because the boarding school implemented e-smart in its administrative process. This is investigated in order to find out how the practice is and how to review the sharia economic law. The results of research on sharia electronic money on the application of e-smart products based on research results in general can be said that its implementation has fulfilled all the elements contained in the DSN-MUI fatwa No: 116/DSN-MUI/IX/2016
