Abstract

The Minister of Education and Culture planned the implementation of limited offline learning in 2021. One of the reasons for the implementation is negative social impacts, including decreased academic achievement. The offline learning is carried out in stages by paying attention to the vaccination process. This study aimed to describe how the process of implementing limited offline learning was carried out at MI Muhammadiyah Madureso. This study utilized the qualitative method. The research subjects were the principal, teacher, and three students of grade V, class Hambali, MI Muhammadiyah Madureso. The data collection techniques were carried out using observation, interviews, and documentation. Then, the data were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman analysis technique. The result indicated that the implementation of limited offline learning had been carried out following the guidelines of the implementation of limited offline learning. In this case, teachers and students complied with health protocols based on government guidelines and recommendations during the implementation. The offline learning process was limited in grade V class Hambali using a blended learning system. In conducting limited offline learning, the teacher planned learning activities of two types: offline and online. The material was presented briefly during the learning process and focused on the essential one. Therefore, the learning process was conducted effectively.
