The covid-19 pandemic has changed direct learning into online. However, students are expected to be able to improve their mathematical creative thinking skills. In addition, the gender differences also cause the mathematical creative thinking ability to be different or varied. This study aimed to describe students' mathematical creative thinking skills viewed from gender differences in the Covid-19 pandemic. This is descriptive qualitative research. The subjects in this study were students of grade VII C SMP Negeri 2 Gumelar selected using purposive sampling technique. Researchers involved 3 male students and 3 female students as research subjects based on gender. Tests of mathematical creative thinking skills, interviews, and documentation were conducted in the data collection. Miles and Huberman model which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions was used in the data analysis. The results indicated that male students showed the following mathematical creative thinking skills: male students were able to provide answers to mathematical problems in a new or unique way. Then the mathematical creative thinking skills of female students were as follows: female students were able to provide different possible answers, provide new or unique answers, and also able to provide answers in a sequential or detailed way from the given mathematical problems.
