Abstract

The operation the maintenance of a medium-voltage 20 kV airway in a live voltage (PDKB) shall not neglect the safety and security of the lineman. The existence of safety and security guarantees ranging from initial preparation, the equipment used and the type of work to be used is a measure of success in preventing accidents occurring in the maintenance work of the medium-voltage 20 kV airways in a live voltage. It can also improve reliability in power delivery systems because there is no electrical energy lost during maintenance work in a live voltage. Extinction due to maintenance and repair can be done with PDKB or Work in Stakeholder Condition. PDKB is a competent team to do the work that incidentally without extinguishing the flow of electricity The advantage gained if minimizing outages, suppress the ratio of SAIDI and SAIFI, kWh is not reduced, the selling price is not reduced. The research method used is direct observation method in work area (in case of initial preparation of work location, work method used, distance condition and coordination of equipment isolation used), interview to TIM PDKB (executor of worker, supervisor, and PDKB coordinator or head of operations ). The result of the analysis shows that the maintenance work of 20 kV medium voltage airway insulator in a voltage situation can save electric energy per one semester in 2018 (January - June) of 16,606.42 kWh. When expressed in rupiah Rp. 18.477.809,42.
