This research aimed to describe teachers' knowledge and perception of the
evaluation for Indonesian language subject at vocational high schools in Banyumas
Regency. This was descriptive quantitative research and the research instruments were
in the form of multiple-choice tests and questionnaires. The population of this
research was Indonesian language teachers at vocational high schools throughout
Banyumas Regency, totaling 137 people. The samples were taken using the purposive
sampling technique, in accordance with the criteria needed by the researcher. The
research data were collected online using the Google Forms application and analyzed
using descriptive statistics. While the validity of the instruments was tested using
construct validity. Based on the results of the research, it is known that 1) 26% of the
teachers were in the good category of knowledge regarding online learning evaluation
for Indonesian language subject, 56% of the teachers were in the moderate category, and 19% of the teachers were in the poor category. 2) the teachers' perception of online learning evaluation for the Indonesian language subject was in a moderate category. This is evidenced by the details of the research results as follows, 7% of the teachers were in a good category, 85% of the teachers were in the moderate category, and 7% of the teachers were in the poor category.
