Abstract

This study aimend to find out: 1) the achievements of mathematics problem solving competence of students talking PBL with TTW strategy; 2) achievement of mathematics problem solving competence of studens taking PBL; 3) achievement of mathematics problem solving competence of students taking PBL with strategy compared with the achievements of mathematics problem solving competence of students taking PBL. The population in this study was all students of class VIII SMP N 2 Bawang Banjarnegara. Sampling was determined by cluster random sampling in order to obtain an experimental class and control class. Data were obtained from post test instrument of mathematics problem solving competence. Based on data from post test results of mathematics problem solving competence, it obtained that ther students with mathematics problem solving competence of students taking PBL with TTW strategy are better than the mathematics problem solving competence of students taking PBL.
